Open Chords

 

            Open chords are chords that are played with out barring the ring finger across the

Fret board.  Fingers 1, 2, 3, and 4 may be playing notes while the strings are strummed.

My first exercise will have you practice what I think is the easiest chord to play.  The

Open E chord

Use this table to help guide you as to where to place your fingers and which ones to use
